Hi,
Congrats on taking your first step to a whole new body and outlook on life!
It won't be easy, but I can already tell, your up for the challenge.
I would suggest maybe some cardio to go along with your new workout plan, I like to jog, but i'm young and have good joints, if you have some tough ...

Re: How Old Are You?
19, the charles atlas course is the first course to ever really get me an awesome body.
Next i'm following an older school weight lifting course, just to build on it some more and shock the muscles, then i'lm going back to atlas.
All of my weight lifter friends are amazed at my body.

Re: 100 Pushups, Etc>
I have some friends in college who followed that program, it was a great program and they ended up being pretty strong.
I don't know about the central nervous system, I think that those problems are overplayed, but i'm young so I don't really worry about those things like I should.

Re: Just starting
I started out at 10 - 12 reps for the dips and could barely do them, now I do 25 reps and am about to move up to 30.
It just depends on what you feel comfortable with, I like to do 4 sets and plan out my reps so that I will be tired by the end.
Spend more time on your body though and don't worry ...

Re: Women and beachwear.
Haha I have not traded in my swimwear for speedos.
I do notice a lot more attention at the beach.
But really, despite what even hot girls will tell you, personality accounts for a lot, make sure he's working on both his social skills, and his looks

Re: is twice daily necessary
I wondered the same thing when I first went through it, I was scared of overtraining too.
I followed it twice a day and saw nothing but amazing results, I would advise following it, I think that it's harder to overtrain, because your body is controlling the exact amount of weight being used.

Holy Cow! A 19 year old non-believers 5 month results
Hey guys, Nils here.
If it's alright with you, I want to give a bit of background information, have you ever read an inspirational post? That's the effect I want to give to beginners in this course.
If you can imagine a 5'8" 155 weakling runner/soccer player then you would have the perfect image ...
