Re: Any course collectors out there?

That sounds very interesting. I have some of the old stuff as well, PM me sometime on here I would like to inquire about some of the martial arts courses.

So are you telling us that you have an actual Atlas trophy in your collection? I bet we all would love to see a picture of that as well as the ...

Re: Merry Christmas And Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas, all.

My NYR's are to continue on the Atlas path, reading and studying the Lessons and all the gems CA put in his course. I also want to get back to studying my karate I started so many years ago as a young Marine - I just found the style I used to study back in 1988-1992, so I'm ...

Re: Lesson 3 Exercise 3

100% correct, Jim, in what you said about Exercise 2 Lesson 3 as Atlas taught it was for strengthening and what normal folks know as it being a stretching movement. I guess I should have differentiated. I perform the movement both ways - as a stretch first and then the DT way. As far as Ex. 3, I ...

Re: Lesson 3 Exercise 3

Due to the American lifestyle of sitting in chairs and even age deteriorates the flexibility of your hamstrings and lower back, the exercise you mention is invaluable to gain it back. While I don't do as many as you, at least 1-2 sets daily is a stable in my routine. As is Exercise 2 of the same ...

Re: How Do You Train?

Every day I do Chair Dips, DT (Lesson 1, and Lesson 9) and finish with squats for cardio. Sure, every now and then I may miss a day or take Sunday off on purpose, but this habit ensures I train 90-95% of the month. That's a pretty good success rate. And man, it's working great! I too train before ...

Re: Atlas Senior Citizen Workout

And don't forget, guys, the more pushups you do the more your abs are worked, also - isometrically, since you have to maintain the correct position (body straight).

And do either of you put some dynamic tension exercises anywhere in there? I would suggest the awesome exercises in Lesson 1 (Rope ...
