Bit of soreness...

So, I stopped doing my exercise fore abbout a month. I know, I know, but my work schedule got very busy and quite erratic, so I wasn't able to get steady time for sleep let alone exercise (although I still did my walking since I walk to work). Anyway, long story short, I recently restarted DT. Since...

Home Modifications?

I'm just curious, does everyone do all the Atlas course exactly as proscribed in the book? Or does anyone do any personal modifications to the programs or exercises? For my part, once I'm done with the course, I'm thinking of viewing it more as menu and taking one or two exercises from each lesson a...

Re: Worth the extra cash?

My honest reply would be to simply get the course the fastest way possible. I did the download and I don't regret it. It was immediate and has the advantage of being searchable. The physical book has well, its physicality going for it. But it is slightly more expensive and takes longer to get there....

Re: Favorite Atlas Exercise

This is easy for me, Lesson 1 Exercise 6. I'm sure this exercise gets overlooked by most DT student, but for me it was what made me take DT seriously. It's such a simple exercise, but did so much for me. I'm an artist (animator) and am constantly hunched over either a desk or a drawing stand. This h...

Re: Thinking of beginning Atlas Course...

Hey guys, sorry it's been awhile since I checked in. I accidentally had my course sent to my old address(I ,oved about two weeks before I ordered the course) and it took a few weeks to sort everything. Plus, it's been a very busy semester. But I'm really looking forward to starting the course (well,...

Re: Thinking of beginning Atlas Course...

Thanks for the help, guys. I truly appreciate it. I think I'm going to with the sampler course at first, simply because, being in college, money is a little tight right now, and the sampler course is smaller investment. If it works out though, obviously I'll buy the full course. Plus, you get all ki...

Thinking of beginning Atlas Course...

...but I have a few questions first. First one, what exactly does "Dynamic-Tension" mean? I've heard it equated to isometrics, which I've read are only good for maintinaing muscle mass, but not building it. Second, how is the Atlas course for beginners? When I say beginners, I mean, absolu...
