Re: So how is that you feel when you work out?
Starting this Monday, we made a family workout group that we get together every evening via messenger and work out. It's me, my spouse, my two sisters and their spouses, my nephew, my father, and my mother. We are living in three different cities, and it is an opportunity to meet with each other and...

Re: How Long
I started Dynamic Tension in 2008. I was doing weightlifting before this. I knew about Dynamic Tension maybe since 2000, but back then I thought that a course without weights wouldn't be effective. In 2008 I decided to give it a try and I never looked back. I am stronger and healthier than ever befo...

Re: Health
I used to say "Health above all" but I didn't feel the full meaning of it until this Christmas we lost my nephew at 30 years of age due a health complication.
Health is above all and if you have your health you can try and achieve everything you put your mind to.

Re: Stress
When we have a lot of stress, primarily at work, I am going for a long ride on my bike (about 10-20km). It really clears my mind and my body. I can think clearly and more calmly and I can feel my heart, my lungs, and my whole body working more efficiently. When I return to the office, the situation ...

Re: Charles Bronson
I think that I read somewhere that Charles Bronson (the actor) started working out after an uncle or something showed him some Dynamic Tension exercises.

Re: Start where you are
Make it easy for yourself to start. Train don't strain as Atlas said. Consistency is the key.
Just start with something easy, doing it every day, and soon the most difficult stuff will become easier to do.

Have patience and get better soon Henry.
We are lucky that we have so many exercises in the Atlas system that we can do, even when we are coping with problems like this.

Welcome to the Atlas students team Justin!
Dynamic tension requires a little of your time every day, but the results you see from the first 7-15 days I'm sure will inspire you to continue the course!

Re: Treadmill Walking
Hello Henry, the official Physical Activity Recommendation from the American Heart Association is 2.5 hours per week - not per day - with increased benefits from 5 hours per week. It would be great if we all have the time to walk -especially outside- for 2.5 hours every day, but for good health, eve...
