Re: when and where do you walk?

Hi Bridge, I don't have a treadmill but I do have an elliptical trainer. I just have the feeling that by not going outside there is so much value lost (sun, fresh air, etc). Isn't so? And of course it's more enjoyable to walk outside than to walk still in a room. Do you (or anyone else in the forum)...

Re: when and where do you walk?

emfermi, thank you for your reply. Unfortunately I'm still unable to do the walking. Leaving from work at 11pm means that I am not going to sleep before 1am, sometimes 2am. So, I wake up at about 8am, drink a cup of coffee (I know I know, I must quit coffee...) perform my DT routine (the vintage sch...

when and where do you walk?

Hello, I know that the "walking" subject have been discussed previously in this forum, but I have to recall it again. Here is the thing: I am living 300m from my office. Both my home and my office are in the city. I am working daily from 10:00 to 16:00 and from 20:00 to 23:00. I am doing D...

Re: is twice daily necessary

I'm joining this discussion late, also, just to add that according to my understanding, Atlas calls for four times a day. DT in the morning. Stretching before launch (lesson 12) 3 miles walk or run DT in the night And as Atlas says, many of DT exercises can be performed during the day at odd moments.

Re: Method

As emfermi said, the number of reps are not as important as the correct form of the exercise. For self resistant exercises I am doing 12 slowly performed reps as Atlas suggests, unless there is a different number of reps for a particular exercise (like sit-ups, squats and some others). For the body ...

Re: Need Encouragement

Hi rocky, all of us in one time or another we need encouragement. This may be because we have a lot of work and not enough time or courage to do our workouts or it may be due to social duties or even because (yes it happens even to Atlas students!) we are lazy sometimes. I agree with you that the fi...

Re: Bodylastics disaster

I didn't knew about bodyblastics. In the past I have use many methods and apparatus (weights, bullworker, expanders etc) but I am always very sceptical about everything you have to mount on doors etc. For the last 3 years I am using Dynamic Tension and it's by far the best method ever. Not only I am...

Re: vintage program

emfermi, thank you for the vintage schedule

I started it 10 days ago, (now I am in the second week, lessons 1,2)

Let's see how different the feeling and the results are from the newer version.

Re: "Gurus"

I can't agree more. Not only Atlas System it's the best, most complete exercise system that gives you not only strength but great endurance too, it also offers timeless advice on character and personality building. I think that if it was a lesson in the schools it would help the children not only ph...
