Re: Worth the extra cash?

I ordered it both ways because I bought a copy for my son. The one I ordered by mail came with a nice binder and dividers. That is a plus. However, the one I ordered by download comes with a color picture. Atlas looks tanned and fit. Its just black and white with the printed version, but I suppose y...

Re: Good C's

Spearhead put cabbage on the list. I love it all kinds of ways. I like it cooked in the pot with corned beef, especially for New Years. I like it in sour kraut with sausage. I like red cabbage and white cabbage. One way I like cabbage might not make the Atlas A-list. Have you ever had Bubble and Squ...

Re: Good C's

I don't have any sardine recipes, but I do have preferences for them. I like the ones packed in water best because they are less greasy and then I like them smothered in mustard or Louisiana hotsauce, or both. I know that mustard and the hot sauce are forbidden by Atlas, but its the only way I can a...

Re: Recipes

Thats interesting about boiled eggs. Recently I have started craving eggs. I think its the protein in them. Anyway, I like them now with salt and pepper. And though not recommended by Charles Atlas I like them with hot sauce. Here recently its a mild sauce called Valentino or something like that. La...

Re: Recipes

I never thought about trying collards with a smoked turkey leg, but that sounds good. Also, I like the idea about cooking them down in chicken broth. I'm going to give that a try. Thumbs Up on That!

Re: IS THERE FLEXIBILITY WITH MR. ATLAS METHODS?

I think Spearhead is right on the money about flexibility after achieving the Perpetual Lesson. BUT, those modern methods you spoke of have an important presupposition that is NOT a part of DT. Those modern techniques you mention presuppose that you are going to exercise to failure. In other words, ...

Re: Recipes

I don't know why others didn't respond to your recipe idea. I thought it was a good one, though I am not much of a cook. I do like to try new things, though, especially if they are relatively simple. Here is a recipe that I like. Collard Greens. Sometimes I use olive oil, but the way I really like t...

Good C's

I think the posts on the evil seven c's is great! I think of them whenever I eat chips and crackers. Ouch on the coffee, a major weakness of mine. Anyway, I thought that there might be some GOOD c's out there. Here are some things I would put on the list: 1. Calcium -- Atlas advises milk, and I have...

Re: Back and Knee pain

Thanks for that advice. I know just how good it is, because I do have bad feet and have gotten professionally made inserts for my shoes. Come to think of it, I have been leaving them in my dress shoes and not having them in my tennis shoes, and sometimes I go barefoot when I do my dts. I think you a...
