My Dynamic Tension Routine
My Dynamic Tension routine takes me 45 mins to go through, it's one set of twenty five exercises and actually finish with push-ups (dips). As well as forward bending exercises I do a back wards bend, the one with hands clasped behind the back whist face down on a mat.

Re: Senior work out
As of two weeks ago I restarted DT. I was doing lessons 1-11 in the morning and the perpetual’s in the evening. It’s not working because at 72 it’s too much. A person I was listening too recommending never to go to failure if you train daily, you want to be able to train again the next day. I do va...

Re: Dave Draper Passing Away
Dave was my fave bodybuilder in the old Weider magazine 1960's, I was excited when 'Don't Make Waves" movie came out, starring Dave Draper, Tony Curtis and Sharon Tate. Dave also appeared on TV series "The Beverly Hillbilly's" and "The Monkees".

Re: Staying Healthy
I took care of my health and nutrition a long long time ago, now friends telling me that if they thought they'd live this long they would have made much better choices. I remember when I was around 21 trying to get my mother who was 47 to do some Yoga exercise, she'd say "it's to late for that&...

Re: beer
I quit drinking a long long time ago, and smoking non-filter cigarettes. I think when the kids were young and we had a mortgage, it phased out.
I eat what I like but then it's moderation.
My wife did aqua-fit with a group of ladies in our building, we have an indoor pool.

Re: Positive thoughts
I had to laugh the other day, I was at an intersection crosswalk, on the other side a load of high school kids and one older fellow, all spread-out. Just me on this side so started to cross when the walk light came on and all of them came straight cross all spread-out. As the older fellow was walkin...

Re: Positive thoughts
Always be polite in situations, keeps you from creating negative scenarios in your mind. If you encounter a nitwit, you don't have to respond. Sometimes walking down a street and see a couple walking towards me and my wife, often they keep walking not moving aside so us two seniors have to step of t...
