Re: Training Log

I have a small book that has an inspirational passage for each day of the year. I like to read it in the morning, after I exercise and have time to meditate a bit on it. Really helps. I also read my bible every day at night, before going to bed.

Re: How Do You Measure Up To Charles Atlas?

Spearhead, I would personally use the average. The calculator is not exact science, but it will give a rough estimate of your natural potential if you train the Charles Atlas way. ;)

Re: Atlas Designed DT For Life

Well done Arjuna!!!!! Those people that are not into exercising yet maybe will get encouraged to do so when they SEE something we posses that makes life easier and more enjoyable for us. Re: Warm Up?

Pegasus, as you, I usually warm up walking and lubricating my joints. If I done not have much time, I might jump rope or do a warm-up consisting of running in place (30sec) alternated with jumping jacks (15s) repeated 4 times. Sometimes, specially with the first exercises, I perform one set of small...

Re: How Do You Do The Perpetual Lesson?

Arjuna, thanks for the kind words. We are all here to help each other and share our experience. In this forum there are many knowledgeable people, many of whom have been training for many years and people that are new to training. I have learned from them all. As far as the non-walking habit you tal...

As a corollary, I would like to add: "Aim to develop strength of character as well as strength of muscle. Make discipline an ally rather than an enemy"
