I broke my collar bone on 4/4/09. The doctor recomended arm movements as excercise. That seems to do little if any good. Any recomendations of DT excercises that could be modified for this porpouse? I have looked over my DT book 10 steps and have not thought of any ideas. The Doc says I can do no lifting of any sort. Any idea on anything I might not have thought of or might be overlooking?

I would recommend you go back to your Doctor and ask for a prescription for Physical Therapy. Get the pro’s involved ASAP. That is an area were you do not want to take chances for exacerbation, re-injury, or just not doing the right things leading to some difficult to reverse condition like frozen shoulder. Prescription may or may not be required, depending on were you live. Ask around for recommendations from co-workers, neighbors and friends for a good practitioner.
