New member results

I am new to the forum but have been using the atlas course and isometrics for about 6 months. I have had great results. I recently lost 24 pounds and eight inches off my waist. This was due to not only the exercises but the nutrition that CA recommended. I cut out all junk food and anything with white flour in it. I have gained muscle size as well. My progress is listed below.

Beginning. Present.

Chest 42in Chest 46in
Upper Arms(flexed) 15 in Upper Arms(flexed) 17in
Waist 42in Waist 34

I do not have the greatest physique in the world but it does go to show that you can make quick gains under this system. and by the way I will be 50 in August. I work out hard and am using a version of the perpetual lesson. I will post my exact exercises in another post.

Those are excellent results that you have achieved. My congratulations to you. I am particularly impressed with the amount you have reduced at your waist. Keep up the training. I will be expecting your next post.

:D That's excellent, man! Good work! After many starts and stops it's been the only system that's ever worked out for me because you can do it anywhere. Glad it worked for you.

Thank you for the encouragement. Under the Atlas system I find that I actually enjoy working out and look forward to my next workout. When I lifted weights I hated the thought of going into the gym not to mention the damage to all my joints that the weights were doing. I stopped lifting weights around 6 years ago because of the pain in my shoulders and elbows.I followed Atlas advice and stopped eating all white flower products and junk food. This is the reason that I have dropped all the fat around my mid-section. My upper body is now slightly larger than when i lifted weights but my waist is much smaller. I now have a ton of energy this goes to prove how important nutrition is and why atlas has a seperate section on nutrition. There is no pain in my joints now even though i work out harder with atlas. I turn 50 in August and I want to be in the best shape of my life when that day comes. I will keep everyone up to date on my progress.

Those are very good results. If you follow the advice of Atlas, as far as diet goes, you probably can't go wrong. I'm way behind the time as far as nutrition goes, so every bit of advice helped me. Just think, this has been available for a long time, too.
