I am not sure if this topic has been covered before but here goes. What is your favorite Atlas exercise? My personal favorite is under the "five free gifts" section that came with the course. The Hand Balancing or handstand pushup. I do several sets of this excellent exercise and can really feel the results. I had never heard of this exercise before i got the course. Atlas really knew what he was doing.

Pushups, aka dips, and walking are my two favorite exercises from the DT program. I especially like to walk up steep hills and steps.

Well, the chair dip has to be my most favorite and the most popular exercise of the DT course. I also like the Atlas squat as well. That is a very effective exercise if done as Atlas advised to do....very slowly. But, like you, also love the handstand exercise as emonstrated in the free gifts section. That is the best shoulder builder you can do. You have to ease into it, though. But, the whle program is centered the chair dip, which is also what Mr. Atlas is most famous for. What I will do, is to put a chair behind me and prop my feet on it as I do my Atlas dips, leveling my body out. This adds more resistance to the movement. Mr. Atlas also used this variation in his dip training. Try going halfway down and holding it as well while dipping. This gives you a great burn.

This is easy for me, Lesson 1 Exercise 6. I'm sure this exercise gets overlooked by most DT student, but for me it was what made me take DT seriously. It's such a simple exercise, but did so much for me. I'm an artist (animator) and am constantly hunched over either a desk or a drawing stand. This has led to severe upper back pain for me. Exercise 6 was the first thing I'd done that actually relieved the tension. I have no idea why it worked or what it did, but I''m very thankful for it.
