Even though I eat healthy and exercise regularly, new year resolution means to refocus and plan.
My apartment building has an indoor pool, I bought some goggles so I can swim head down when swimming a length, more relaxing doing the breaststroke.
There's also an exercise room, which has various cardio equipment, I've used the rowing machine which has a water tank, closing eyes I can imagine being on a lake. Been doing 500 meters in 2 minutes and recently 1000 meters under 5 minutes. I do a fair amount of walking outside so have never use the treadmill till the other day when I thought I'd try running on it, still have to figure out the settings coz I was walking uphill and short sprint mode.
There's also full length mirrors, good for Dynamic-Tension® exercises which I do and aim to inspire others who only use the cardio equipment.

elliptical machine
Tried the elliptical machine setting it at 13 which simulates hiking, pretty good machine. Gets me warmed up for some calisthenics on the floor area.
One fellow commented on my exercises "that's quite some stretching your doing" he sez, I told him it was the Charles Atlas Dynamic-Tension® system.
Most everyone in our building are older folks so there's good social vibe.

Re: 2018 New Year Resolutions
Well it is almost time for 2019 new year resolutions! How did everyone do on 2018? I resolved to begin fasting and I fasted for 46 days throughout the year. I lost about 30 pounds and then gained it all back in a month when we went through some hard emotional times with parents. Oh well, I have another year to try harder.

Re: 2019 New Year Resolutions
Well! I've been retired a year now and getting a little belly fat, I use to work for a builder so was always very active. I'm fairly active but really need to kick it up a few notches.
