A supplement I started to take is Super Prostate Extra Strength 60 one a day, Not so much for prostate but some bodybuilders use it to preserve testosterone.

Each softgel contains:
Saw Palmetto 320 mg
Pumpkin Oil 480 mg
Zinc 15 mg
Tomato Extract (6% lycopene) 5 mg
Selenium 55 mcg

Saw palmetto works by decreasing the activity of 5α-R — an enzyme responsible for converting testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT), another *love* hormone, to help preserve testosterone levels in the body
Saw palmetto may ward off hair loss and increase hair density by decreasing levels of a specific enzyme related to hair loss.

I read it also is a bit of a blood thinner, I told my dental hygienist and yes there was more bleeding during my cleaning.

Henry, I took your advice. Am taking one capsule(450mg) of saw palmetto, twice a day. I think it is helping with my hair growth, however slight a difference there may be. Will skip using it a starting a few days before my next visit to the dentist.

It takes about 2 month of using the extract before hair growth, I've taken it for 2 months and have some but it's still early. No big deal at the dental hygienist.

Henry, I have my inflammation underneath one of my partials under control. Been using a rubber-tipped pick from a different angle, and, had inflammation gradually go down . Eating those chocolate candy bars on a regular basis really adversely affected my gums, under that partial. Swishing aloe vera juice in the mouth, along with avoiding eating chocolate candy during lent, has reduced the inflammation to the point that my gums are normal, again. Thank goodness for Lent: You can get physical benefits, besides the spiritual.

We have a giant aloe vera plant, don't use but read you can take out the jelly part and use in smoothies.

Henry, the swelling under the partials is now gone. Haven't been eating the chocolate candy often, since Lent. However, have stopped using saw palmetto, only on account of my swelling in the retina. Otherwise, still using oatmeal on a regular basis, and, taking powdered form of greens for improved health.

Still taking the Saw Palmetto, bought 6 months worth, and can say the top of my head is much hairier, I'm letting my hair grow now from a buzz cut.
