Charles Atlas inspires millions to exercise and feel good about themselves. Talk about how Charles Atlas has inspired you. Success stories from Atlas Students!
The truest SUCCESS is but the development of self.
The inspiration of Charles Atlas started with reading his ad and sending for the information booklet that was advertised. That book had me convinced and I sent for the course without hesitation. The Dynamic-Tension System totally inspired me and has become part of my life style.
*The booklet is now available with the box set "10 steps to a Better Body".
Hi gang.
You all seem to have Ten Steps To a Better Body so I don't need to mention the other Atlas Memoriabilia such as the fridge magnet and the trading cards, but one thing that tends to get overlooked is the flip side of the giant Charles Atlas poster which is a wall chart of the Ten Steps introductory workout.
This is the side that is on display on my wall because although I know all the excercisers off by heart I am constantly reffering to the wall chart during my workouts for motivation because off the inspirartional way which the excercisers are discribed in particular the crunches.
All the best.
Stan.
Henry's referring to the 32 page booklet that was part of the advertising package that Charles Atlas Limited mailed to people who inquired about the course back in the '60s - 80's. It is still available with the box set "ten steps to a better body." Before I was introduced to the internet, which wasn't very long ago, the booklet, the Gaines biography of Atlas, and the ad package I have kept over the years, along with the course, was all I had to keep me inspired and motivated.
I have both courses and I love them. I had it when I was a boy of 12 or 13 too. But somehow they were lost. I got them now. I wish he was still in the comics like in the past. There were others but he was the best of the best.
combat crew said it well, "IT IS A CRAKING LITTLE BOOKLET." I have shown the booklet to quite a few people and all of them were inspired by it. The vintage photos of the early day trophy winners such as SANSONE, GOLDSTEIN, O'BRIEN, and the early day pupils featured are all interesting. The latter day champions also appear. I wish everyone could have a chance to see it. As the booklet is no longer available
