Hi, I just started D.T. this week, I have been really out of shape these past few years but I noticed
doing the dips are really hard, i can barely do 10 in a row. D

id anyone else experience this when they started?

Hi nomad,
welcome to D.T
10 dips are not bad for the begining. Just practise Charles Atlas advises and follow the exersise plan and you will soon be able to more than double them.

Hi nomad36,
welcome to the forum.
when i first started with d.t. i could only manage to do 12 dips in the whole of the first session. It was extremely hard to do as well.
I kept at it, now i can do 300 easily in a session.
on one occasion i did over 900.
your numbers will increase with practice i am sure.
above all enjoy your training.
all the best ian.

Yes. We have to walk before we can run, so to speak. Just stay with the course, keep training daily, and little by little before you know it, your numbers will increase. As Atlas says, "step by step, and the job is done."

Thanks for the encouragement guys, I guess going slow is the best approach. 300 dips is impressive, I hope I can work up to that someday.
