Dave Draper Passing Away
The Blond Bomber recently passed away at 79 years of age. I remember the old Joe Weider advertisements in the comic books from the beginning of the 1970's. Dave would be shown flexing his 21 inch biceps( It seemed that by the mid 1970's, Multi-Mr. Olympia-Winning,Arnold Schwarzenegger, had replaced ...

K-Hill, glad that you are making progress with you dips. I bet your arms have grown an inch or two since starting Dynamic Tension. I hear you about not wanting to take medications: We all have relatives who start taking one prescription, and, then, more of them, with time. It's better to be ...

Re: Saw Palmetto Extract +
Henry, the swelling under the partials is now gone. Haven't been eating the chocolate candy often, since Lent. However, have stopped using saw palmetto, only on account of my swelling in the retina. Otherwise, still using oatmeal on a regular basis, and, taking powdered form of greens for improved ...

Re: Senior Health Update
Ttiros1, sorry to hear about your getting bitten by the Lonestar Tick. Are you doing better, now? Other than not being able to eat red meat any longer, are the symptoms gone, now?

Re: Saw Palmetto Extract +
Henry, I have my inflammation underneath one of my partials under control. Been using a rubber-tipped pick from a different angle, and, had inflammation gradually go down . Eating those chocolate candy bars on a regular basis really adversely affected my gums, under that partial. Swishing aloe vera ...

Re: Senior work out
Jim, both of my parents are nearly at their mid 80's; both use a walker, although my dad only uses it, when it is necessary. The more power to you, if you don't use either a cane or walker. Sounds like you have a program that works; as long as you follow it weekly. Just reading the Charles Atlas ...

Re: Senior work out
Ttiros1, a rule of thumb is to listen to your body. If you happen to overtrain, your muscles will be very sore and the exercises will be harder to do than usual. And, instead of being motivated, your usually enjoyable workout will feel too toilsome. Sometimes, an extra day or two's rest can do the ...

Re: 2020 Vegan 40 day challenge
The Daniel Fast sounds too strict for me. Besides with my weekly weight training, and my handling a superheavy-duty floor cleaning machine five times a week at work, only a more moderate fast would work, under such circumstances.

Re: Saw Palmetto Extract +
Henry, I took your advice. Am taking one capsule(450mg) of saw palmetto, twice a day. I think it is helping with my hair growth, however slight a difference there may be. Will skip using it a starting a few days before my next visit to the dentist.
