You can make your exercises a success or a miserable failure
A great paragraph on page 3 lesson 1, the words there are so true. I find myself really enjoying the feel of the Dynamic Tension exercises, that steady slow pace of movement.

The exercises are fun if you do them as directed, training and not straining. That is the real key, and hard for us to learn, due to the constant barrage of the "no pain, no gain" philosophy. Also, the latest rage is high intensity training, short intense workouts. In a short time, you get burned out, and don't want to continue at such a pace.

I did a bootcamp a couple of years back, 3 mornings a week for a month (each an hour). There was a lot of jumping involved and I noticed my ear drum feeling like that when in an aeroplane, the coach kept pushing me to keep going ignoring my concern about my inner ear. I was 60 at the time and didn't need to be pushed by someone oblivious to what I may be sensing. Almost 63 I follow a more sensible approach to movement and not be in a rush to injure myself permanently.Bridge wrote: high intensity training, short intense workouts.
