Self Care

Post by ca_admin »

To all you struggling right now, close your eyes and breathe.
To all you working a lot ad feeling overwhelmed, close your eyes and breathe.
To all you pushing yourself beyond your physical limits and not watching what you should do for your body, close your eyes and breathe.
To all you family members taking care of children that feel overburdened, close your eyes and breathe.
Breathing lowers your blood pressure and allows you to look with fresh eyes are the situation you are in. Remember to breathe whenever you feel as though you cannot go any further.

Just went for a swim in our apartment indoor pool, put me goggles on and swim underwater holding me breath for the length.

In me Yoga days we would do various breathing techniques and holding the breath, my longest was 2 mins. In me Tai Chi groups we did breathing exercises with movement called Chi Gung, a kind of meditation.
